A cookie is a small file placed onto your device that enables Talent Sonar features and functionality. For example, cookies enable us to identify your device, secure your access to our site and services, and even know if someone attempts to access your account from a different device. Cookies also enable you to easily share content and help us serve relevant content to you.
WHAT ARE COOKIES USED FOR?
We use two types: persistent cookies and session cookies. A persistent cookie helps us recognize you as an existing user, so it’s easier to return to Talent Sonar without signing in again. After you sign in, a persistent cookie stays in your browser and will be read by Talent Sonar when you return to the site. Session cookies only last for as long as the session (usually the current visit to a web site or a browser session).
We may also use Flash Local Storage to enhance your experience on the Services. Such features permit us to store your preferences and personalize certain features of our Services.

1.6. Log Files, IP Addresses, and Information About Your Computer and Mobile Device
We collect information from the devices and networks that you use to access our Services.
When you visit or leave our website or Services by clicking a hyperlink we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came or the one to which you are directed. We also receive the internet protocol (“IP”) address of your computer or the proxy server that you use to access the web, your computer operating system details, your type of web browser, your mobile device (including your mobile device identifier provided by your mobile device operating system), your mobile operating system (if you are accessing Talent Sonar using a mobile device), the type of bot you are using and the name of your ISP or your mobile carrier. We may also receive location data passed to us from third-party services or GPS-enabled devices that you have set up, which we use to show you local information (for example, jobs information relevant to your location) on our mobile applications and for fraud prevention and security purposes. Most mobile devices allow you to prevent real time location data being sent to us, and of course we will honor your settings. In the case of our Android apps, you will be provided notice of the types of data (e.g. location) that will be sent to us. If you choose to use our app after this notice, we process this data to enable registration or preview product features for you (e.g. information relevant to jobs in your area). If you choose not to register as a user, we will make this information unviewable by other users.
1.7. Pixel Tags
We use Pixel Tags on our webpages and e-mails.
We, and our service providers, also use “Pixel Tags” (sometimes referred to as clear gifs, web beacons, or web bugs). Pixel Tags are tiny graphic images with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, that are used to track online movements of web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, Pixel Tags are embedded invisibly in web pages and e-mail messages. Pixel Tags also allow us to send e-mail messages in a format users can read, and they tell us whether e-mails have been opened to help us ensure that we are sending messages that are of interest to our users.
